I particularly like this pose because it is as dramatic as the make-up. With the model's hands on the sides of her head it automatically draws attention to her eye makeup as that that is the main attraction of the image. The pose also makes her bone structure stand out as it gives the illusion of her pulling her face upwards.
This is an image from the black up paris cosmetics.
Even though this is a head shot I still found it inspiring as I still found it inspiring and saw it as a pose as I think keeping your head straight in that position can be pretty difficult. As the make up is so bold the pose in my opinion is right as it gives off a look of royalty and this comes across because of the pose and also the accessories used. As the light hits the centre of her face it draws all the attention to the middle of her face and makes her face appear more longer.
This image is from the Tom Ford Beauty Bronzer collection campaign. I really like the pose in this image as the model has her face slightly to the side. This allows the light to hit one side of her face and not the other as seen from the image the other side of her face has darker shadows. I found this pose inspiring because the angle that her head is turned to really pops out her facial bone structure and goes right for the look.
This is a beauty image from the Chanel rouge coco lipstick collection 2015. I liked this pose as the model is looking downwards and in all of the poses I have come across so far are with the model looking straight at the camera. I found this pose inspiring as if I use this pose for my final shots it can really show the eye make up and if I use the correct lighting as done in the image a I could be able to draw attention to the middle of the face and make the face look elongated.
This beauty image is from the Dior Jewellery campaign. What I liked about this pose was that it is a side shot . I also like the use of hands on the face in this image even though it is there for promoting the jewellery. As the lighting is placed at the front of the face this causes a shadow on the other side of the face yet giving the look a soft appearance.
