Camera settings

There are four main things that are needed for a photography studio session:

• Camera

• Tripod 

• A sync lead(to connect the camera to the flash)

• A lighting stand

• The camera always has to be in the manual mode. 

• The shutter speed of the camera has to be 1/160.

• The ISO always has to be 100. The higher the ISO the brighter the picture will be and the lower the ISO the darker the picture will be. 

• A tethering cable can be used to connect the camera to the PC. 

• The aperture can be controlled from the menu by moving the f up of down. It is usually recommended to start of with f8 or f11 and work accordingly.
